We specifically designed our transport department to meet the various needs of our customers. To that end, our set of vehicles involves different types:

• Vehicles for delivery
• Road trucks
• Refrigerated lorries and refrigerated bi-temperature trailers truck

All day long, our planning department encodes each one of your particular requests for transport : pick up, delivery, return of goods or empties, return of empties ...

At the same time, our order picking department transmits its requests to the planning for the next day deliveries (all of which is computerized).

Closure time for next day requests (D+1) happens around 5 pm. A highly qualified staff then establishes the layout of the trucks, assisted by a planning assistance program. We take numerous criteria in consideration : time constraints of the consignee, nature of the goods (fresh or frozen), equipment and human resources … while aiming for the most optimal efficiency of the loading..

As soon as the planning has been established, we print the road sheets, the loading attendance and the control lists for the pick ups (which will arrive to us in the evening or at night).

As the merchandise is available and checked (pick ups which came back to us, orders picked, release of items from warehouse…), we load the trucks in total respect of the cold chain.

At present, we are developing a loading process using bar codes for checking.

On basis of the road sheets established the previous day - at the same time as the delivery slips -, the vehicles set off on their rounds, from 4:30 am on, after making sure that they carry all the required documents for each stop, signed or to be signed (CMR-road sheets, delivery slips, empties… )- all of which will be certified by computer reading when they return to the office).

In our field, the vagaries of the road are our worst enemies (road works, accidents, breakdowns, delays…). That is the reason why King is equipped with all the possible technical means currently available in terms of communication (cell phones, GPRS, GPS…). This allows us to respond as quickly as possible to any kind of unexpected situation, in order to provide you with a service that respects your schedules and needs.

A very well-trained maintenance division keeps our vehicles spotless on a daily basis and our drivers are fully aware of the requirement for perfect cleanliness.

Every day, KING covers the Benelux. Some departments of France (08, 59 and 62) are delivered several times a week. Other destinations are available on simple request.
